When that career ended, by choice, in 2003 I began shooting with my 35mm Nikon F2 and purchased my first DSLR shortly thereafter. I had a long and successful career as a nationally recognized documentary DP with a body of work acknowledged by a number of EMMY Awards, The Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award and two boxes of commendations from the NPPA, The White House News Photographers Association and various lesser organizations in unpacked boxes in my studio. Not knowing then where that path would lead I find myself now, at this point in my life, a still photographer.
